Back in Prague. The seasons have changed in the meantime, you could make a weak argument that things have changed on the political front (although, plus ca change...), but on the whole obvious changes are not what you find in old European cities after only a few months away.
Worst routing ever to get back here. Five airports, three five-hour layovers, thirty hours in total from start to finish. No sleep for 48 hours by the time I hit the hay. I just don't sleep in airplanes.
Nicest airport in the world, in my opinion: Portland International. Beautiful interior, not too big nor too small, never overcrowded, everybody friendly. I bought one of those travelling thermos coffee cup things and the fellow said, "how about some free coffee to go with that?" Everything went downhill from there - Salt Lake, Atlanta, JFK.
